Of Special Note The Library will be closed Monday, September 2nd for Labor Day What’s New: Just in time for your fall travel! We have added these new titles to our books on CD collection; “Warrior Class” by Dale Brown and “The Judgement” by D.W. Buffa. Thanks to the efforts of the Bogue Banks Friends of the Library, our collection of books on tape continues to grow. New titles include “Jackdaws” by Ken Follett, “A Prarie Home Companion 25th Anniversay Collection” by Garrison Keller and “Spyder Web” by Tom Grace. Featured Artists for August: Featured in the Art Gallery - a series of paintings about Hatteras Island by Janet Adkins. In addition Ms. Adkins will show a Triptych, acrylics on canvas, of Carrot Island. The showcases will feature Ukranian painted eggs by Doris King and an eclectic collection of photographs from the travels of amateur photographer, Michael A. Bertino. Reception for Artists: Friday, September 13th at 3:30 p.m. at the library. This reception is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. It is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Meet September’s artists and enjoy their worlds.
